When Connie is having coffee at Café Noir with Tracy and Sally she heads to the back of the café (the washroom) without her purse. As she returns her purse is in hand.
It is clearly shown how windy it is, as Edward prepares to leave for work. As Connie looks out the window to watch Edward leave, it is a calm day, with no wind. Next shot, it is windy again.
When Connie first goes up to Paul's apartment during the wind storm, her hair changes from very messy to almost neat and back again.
When Connie rushes from Paul's place after their first encounter she clearly leaves without the items she bought for her son's party. When she runs through Grand Central she is carrying the bags.
When shot from the outside, Paul's apartment has windows that are mullioned into four sections (two above the sash, two below). When shot from the inside, however, the windows are mullioned into six sections (three above the sash, three below).
A blunt trauma by a small spherical glass object is not likely to induce the death of a young person by such a rapid hemorrhage.
Paul reads Connie one of the Braille lines in 'Joy Of Cooking' as "My mother makes me chicken. Her chicken makes me cough. I wish that when she made it, she took the feathers off." There is no such line in the actual cookbook.
Contrary to other beliefs that a snow globe couldn't be heavy or solid enough to crack a man's skull without breaking; if you watch Ed hit Paul, you'll see that he hits him with the wooden base of the snow globe. Snow globes are quite heavy, and that one looked to be good quality. With enough force, he could have definitely cracked his skull. And since the glass didn't take the impact, it was less likely to break.
When Edward is getting into the tub with Connie, his boxers are just barely visible as he lowers himself into the water.
When Connie and Paul fall down together on the windy day they meet the "sidewalk" (crash mat) is being blown about by the wind.
When Connie oversleeps at Paul's and goes to pick up Charlie waiting at school, you can see flowers on the lawn outside where Charlie waits. The flowers are daffodils and jonquils which would not be growing in the Fall or close to the Thanksgiving holiday. Guessing they shot it in the Spring.
In the beginning of the movie they show Charlie going to the bathroom and although you hear a stream there is none to be seen.
Edward's detective friend tells Edward that Paul lives at "433 Mercer Street, apartment 3." However, in the scene in which Paul and Connie meet, the address of the building directly across from Paul's apartment clearly reads, "69 Mercer Street," so Paul's building cannot be 433 Mercer (this address does not exist). In fact, the address of the exterior location for Paul's apartment is 70 Mercer Street.
When Connie and Ed are deciding what to do .... move away, start a new life they forget the fact that Ed's private investigator knew all about Paul having an affair with Connie. He certainly would be able to connect Ed with the murder.
The boom mic is clearly visible in several scenes.
In the children's play, the kids are doing sign language. Charlie's part is, "What's the sense in walking if you don't walk tall?" and he signs, "What's the sense in walking if you 'boy' walk tall."
