Manoj Kumar, Helen, and Nanda Karnataki in Gumnaam (1965)

Goofs

Gumnaam

Edit

Continuity

At 4:19 into "Jan Pehechan-Ho", Mohammed Rafi is missing the Zorro mask he had on earlier. At 4:55, right after Laxmi Chhaya's best head shake, it's back on him.
When the Butler writes on the chalkboard in the kitchen, the writing repeatedly changes between shots.
The lighting of the drums in the close-up in the "Jaan Pehechaan Ho" sequence is different from the lighting in the rest of the scene.

Revealing mistakes

The island where everyone is stranded is supposed to be uninhabited. But when plane lands for the first time and Asha is walking away from the plane a person can be seen standing at a distance. When the plane takes off a tractor can be seen at some distance. Also when the plane lands for the second time another person can be seen standing at a distance.

Audio/visual unsynchronised

The band in the "Jaan Pehechaan Ho" scene are obviously not playing the song: the horn players play when the horns aren't heard; the guitarists don't even pretend to play the right chords; an electric guitar is heard, yet the band "plays" acoustic guitars; and the band has no string section even though violins are heard.
