Burton L. King has been robbing all sorts of things, and Secret Service Agent. Edgar Jones is told to capture him. Unfortunately for him, he looks vaguely like the description of King, so when Clara Williams sees the $1000 reward, which will save her father's ranch, she has the sheriff put Jones in jail.
There is a lot of displeasing arm waving in this short from Lubin. Both King and Jones became directors, although the end of silent movies put an end to their careers. Miss Williams had a smash hit with THE ITALIAN, but found herself typecast and left the movies after 1917.
