Not able to do justice to epic under 3 hours

This old movie in 1965 is 2 hrs 38 mins. The Mahabharata epic has just too many plots which are necessary to show why the Kurukshetra war happened. The movie time can never do justice to it. Dara Singh as Bheema is perfect casting. He has shined throughout the movie but no other actor impressed in the movie.
