Paulina Rubio is not having a great week.
The Mexican singer recently sued three shows in Spain for reporting that she had lesbian affairs, but this week, a judge denied her claim on the grounds that the shows never confirmed the stories--they were simply reporting the news as gossip, according to LatinGossip.com.
And, even though it was Pau (Aka "La Chica Dorada"), who sent her legal team after the three shows (¿Dónde estás corazón?, Aquí hay tomate and Crónicas marcianas) for the sum of $750,000, Vanity Fair Spain is reporting that "La Chica Dorada" may be the one who has to pay legal fees totaling roughly $250,000.
Ouch!

MADRID -- Endemol will merge its two Spanish subsidiaries, Gestmusic and Zeppelin, to form Endemol Espana, set to be the country's biggest TV production house, sources said Monday. Barcelona-based Gestmusic and Madrid-based Zeppelin go hand-in-hand. The two companies have spun out Spain's top reality shows in the past five years, which have catapulted commercial network Telecinco -- the main consumer of such programming -- to the No. 1 spot in late night and edged it past its private competitors in primetime. Gestmusic created talent search show Operacion Triunfo, which is aired on pubcaster Television Espanola and has become a national phenomenon in Spain, and Cronicas Marcianas, which has set new standards in late-night talk shows for Spain over the past seven years. After producing five seasons of the Spanish version of Big Brother, Zeppelin signed a deal with Telecinco last month to produce three reality shows annually for the next two years. Zeppelin's current hit La Casa de tu Vida, garnered a respectable 23.3% share.
