A dramatization of the life of Linda Eastman McCartney in her early years photographing for Rolling Stone magazine and rubbing elbows with much of Hollywood's elite. The story follows her meeting and falling in love with Paul McCartney, their marriage, and what followed.

Photographer, Beatle wife, keyboard and tambourine player, purveyor of vegetarian entrees: Linda McCartney led an undeniably remarkable life. The Linda McCartney Story, based on the book Linda McCartney: The Biography, attempts to present this life in all its glory. She is first shown as Linda Eastman, aspiring rock photographer. Flirting her way around the transatlantic rock scene with the likes of Jim Morrison and Mick Jagger, she eventually meets Paul McCartney during the heyday of mid-'60s Beatlemania. 29 years of marriage, the Beatles' breakup, singing and keyboard- and tambourine-playing with Wings, and and an ultimately-unsuccessful battle with breast cancer follow. Over the course of 120 minutes, a life lived with strength and aplomb is illustrated and celebrated.—Rebecca Flint Marx
