A good one-reel picture has been lengthened out to two and has tiresome parts. These pictures of prehistoric times are not new. The credit for them belongs first to the Vitagraph Company and then to the Biograph. and the latter put out a picture not long ago with the self same idea as this one uses. That one showed the finding of the first artificial weapon; this pictures the finding of the first bow and arrow. But as such, it is distinctly good and it is very sure that the ending of the picture holds well. - The Moving Picture World, December 20, 1913
