In this, the eighth episode of the silent serial The Mystery of Dr. Fu Manchu, the evil mastermind declares that Nayland Smith will die today. During this time, Smith is with Dr. Petrie discussing the death of another of Fu Manchu's victims. They then witness something strange concerning a big tree. So they investigate as they see an innocent bystander get attacked by a cat which proves fatal. Later on, Dr. Petrie sees an old woman get off a bus. He follows her and finds out...I'll just now say this was quite an intriguing ep of The Mystery of Dr. Fu Manchu which makes me want to watch the next installment, even with no music score present on this one as uploaded on YouTube...
