Warning: Spoilers
Canada Vignettes are a group of short films done by the National Film Board of Canada: Some of those shorts were animated and each one of them made a very interesting depiction of different aspects from the culture and history of Canada.

"Voyageurs", like the title suggest, is an animated portrayal of the hardships of voyageurs lives in the early Canadian fur trade.

The animation and designs from this short were pretty stylish, and certainly it has a wonderful atmosphere (Not to mention, the memorable tune which accompanies this vignette) But for some reason, I think that something is missing here.

Maybe if I were Canadian, this would mean a lot more for me. Then again, this was something decent and well made.

this vignette called voyageurs is one of the national film board's very best.can you picture yourself traveling 1600 km's in one month by canoe?carrying a pack on your back that weighs more than you do?if that is not enough how about going day to day in the back of your mind knowning that if your carefull you or someone else could get killed.not a pleasent thought but this is what the voyageurs did and then some.i hope that this short is seen by many people-plus it's got a chatchy little song.
