Plum Island Airport is the location of the airfield used in the film. Also seen is a hangar for a vintage plane restoration business (owned by airline pilot Geert Frank) named Kensington Aircraft Limited that was at the airport in the 1970s. Frank's business restored a large number of World War II era planes and several antique ones. Frank's customers included Hugh Downs and author Richard D. Bach. In October 1977, a fire destroyed many of the airport's buildings, and flooding from the Blizzard of 1978 did more damage.
Shot mostly in 1975 according to actress Juliet Graham.
Italian censorship visa # 75586 delivered on 3 October 1980.
