A pair of F-14 jets are seen taking off from the aircraft carrier. In the next shot, they appear to be Harriers.
While in uniform, Jack Tyree wears a very low cut tank top as an undershirt. US Military officers and enlisted are not allowed to wear low cut tank tops in uniform.
The submarine captain is wearing only an air warfare pin. While aviation officers sometimes cross over to submarine duty, they would not be commanding a sub until well after they had acquired their sub warfare pin, and it would be displayed prominently on top of the ribbons.
French Air Traffic Control was asked if they speak English - the International language for Aviation is English.
While travelling at Mach 2 at 59 thousand feet, the terrorists open the emergency door to jump out. Emergency doors cannot be opened at that speed or altitude. They are designed to only be opened on the ground, for rescue purposes.
The interior of the aircraft in the movie in very wide, whereas Concorde was a notably narrow-bodied airplane. Also, the cockpit of Concorde was full of instruments and dials and switches, but in the movie, the cockpit is quite spartan and does not include a flight engineer's seat or control panel, like Concorde had.
When turning on the auto pilot there is a tag in the cockpit that identifies the aircraft as a Boeing 777.
During the action on the train at the beginning of the film Jack Tyree takes out the first guy and is then confronted by a female with a machine gun. There are bullets flying around from both hers and the one Jack used and yet no signs that they were hitting much. Also with so many bullets fired no passengers were hit by ricochets. After this fire fight the female disappears without harm and Jack never comes across her again.
At the beginning of the film a man is seen setting the bomb on the train and yet when Jack gets on he never comes across this man.
Even though the setting of the movie is contemporary, the French police and emergency services are seen to be using cars from the 60s and 70s. The cars that the French police used at the time were far more modern.
On the initial stages of the approach still at several thousand feet and well above cloudbase, the aircraft lurches violently (not typical of a power loss anyway) and the pilot confirms he's run out of fuel. ATC tells him he can glide in. In a matter of a few seconds, while the pilot is wresting with the controls with 2 hands and semi-panicking trying to work out why he's lost power the aircraft is reconfigured to gear and nose shield down and probably an altitude of around 2000 feet and the external shot shows a nose high approach attitude which would quickly lead to a stall with no thrust from the engines. The next external shot clearly shows black smoke emitting from all 4 engines which are clearly providing considerable power despite supposedly having cut due to the tanks being empty. Shortly before touchdown, ATC instructs the pilot to "throttle back! throttle back! throttle back!" despite knowing that the engines had cut.
The car chase, though set in Northern France, takes place along winding canyon roads. Such roads do not exist in that part of France, which is largely flat and agricultural.
At the end of the movie, supposedly set in France, all the airport vehicles appear to be American, whereas in actuality, most airport vehicles in France would be French, or at least European.
When the Concorde landed, in France, all the light aircraft on the ground were American registered.
The American air traffic controllers are supposedly at Washington Dulles International Airport near Washington DC, but palm trees can be seen outside the control tower windows. Palm trees do not grow anywhere near Washington DC.
As the Concorde comes in over Northern France, the plane is seen to be flying over high, snow-capped mountains. Similar mountains can be seen in the background of what is supposedly Le Bourget airport, outside Paris. Northern France is quite flat and has no snow-capped rocky mountains.
In the Navy scene, two officers are talking to each other indoors and one of them is not wearing a cover. After the CO gives his junior officer an order they salute and walk away. Naval personnel do not salute indoors and do not salute without a cover.
In addition, the senior officer salutes first and that is not a practice in any military in any part of the world.
