Bal d'enfants (1896)

Here's another actuality film from the Lumiere Brothers and this one here has ten girls, partnered up, dancing in front of the camera. I'm not sure the word "infants" is correct as these girls are a bit more older than that but either way this is a nice film from the now legendary brothers. As you'd expect there's not any plot or anything like that. Instead the camera simply captures a moment in time and of course it's quite fascinating to watch today. The dance that the group is doing is actually quite good and the camera-work is extremely impressive as well. Of all of the films from this era there's no question that the Lumiere Brothers were a step up in regards to the image quality.
