This film from the Lumière Brothers clocks in at less than a minute and takes place at a French shipyard where a bunch of men are working. These actuality films are some that people today will either be fascinated by or simply not see the point of watching them. Personally speaking I think these are some of the most fascinating movies to watch simply because they show you a time and place that is real. A lot of movies can re-create these times but actually getting to see men doing their jobs in 1896 is interesting to see. Being able to see what they're wearing and how they're working is a great glimpse into the past.
