This episode called The Candlelight Murder could easily be described as CSI: Scotland Yard.
A body is discovered in a stream in the village of Bramlington. The face has been badly bashed in and the man has been dead for over week.
The police think it might be loner mad Sam Thomas but he has only been missing for a few days. The candle light in his house has been on at night.
Forensics recreate the dead man's face. That he smoked a clay pipe. There was metal powder on his clothes. Near the stream were footprints of a man that were size 11.
Enough clues to eek out a few suspects. There were rumours that Thomas had a hidden fortune. The police think that the murderer has been visiting the house at night looking for the hidden fortune.
A nice lean mystery with flashes of some thought put in the way some of the shots were edited.
