Alison Eastwood in The Spring (2000)

Goofs

The Spring

Edit

Continuity

When Sophie and Dennis are taking the cop to the Spring after he has been shot by Dennis, Sophie's dress is wet before she ever gets in the lake.
At Jack's birthday party, when Gus is in the fountain after he's been holding Jack's head under, the water is almost right at the collar of his shirt, and in the next shot, it's right around his waist.

Factual errors

When Dennis walks into the police station about 30 minutes into the movie, the officer and clerk are at a computer terminal talking about his mother having Alzheimer's and his wife passing away when the son was 3. When Dennis asks where they are getting this information, the officer says law enforcement - NCIC and FBI. The NCIC is the National Crime Information Computer, and all it contains is criminal arrest or missing/wanted person data, such as name, date of birth, addresses, and offenses by charge and location (arresting agency). No personal family history is stored there. Ditto the FBI. An FBI number only means someone has been arrested for certain offenses or in multiple states.
