I cried watching this movie , The story is very emotional and sad , it is about the life of poor teenage boy Mohammed living with his mother , who works as a home servant for rich people , trying to survive the everyday material needs and to maintain her child's needs . Mohammed a decent and ambitious boy finds it difficult to cope with his teenage needs, the seduction of women and life, so he finds refuge

in extreme religious group , this affects his relation with everybody especially his mother . The movie has a tragic ending. Its must see movie.

a unique reflection of the real egyptian society

The movie is considered a reflection of the real state of the Egyptian society suffering from poverty, ignorance, terriosim not just by force but by words and push. The actors were more than perfect specially sousan badr and the boy who played a friend to ahmed azmy. The movie contains alot of perfect scenes like the one when the boy died in the street and when he lost the pound he gained from selling flowers in the streets. The movie is considered a perfect start for the director and a new hope for the egyptian cinema.
