The Omega Code (1999)

Goofs

The Omega Code

Edit

Continuity

During the car chase, a powder blue Olds is wrecked. The same powder blue Olds appears in two other scenes after the wreck.
Though some characters appear to be looking through night vision goggles, angles showing their faces show they aren't wearing any.
Though the film is supposed to take place over a seven year period, nobody ages or changes their hairstyle. This is particularly obvious with Gillen's daughter, who remains seven years old throughout.
When Gillen is fixing Cassandra's dress, the broken strap moves from her left shoulder to her right, and then back to her left.
The English and Hebrew sentences, on the last printed page of the code that is seen, mean completely different things.

Revealing mistakes

When Gillen Lane approaches the horse before his vision, the film splicing is obvious.
The "night vision" shots are obviously just green-lit scenes shot on grainy film stock. When one character steps into a lit area, his face has flesh tones.
Stone's coronation is matted in onto the Jumbotron in Times Square, but the headline below it has nothing to do with the events shown ("Monsanto Wins FDA Approval").
