Told with a vim which does much to maintain the interest
deickemeyer13 April 2016
In this film we are shown two people, one a Western heiress and the other a foreign lord, who agree to a friendly marriage. The lord has some ability and writes a novel which is accepted. Meanwhile he employs a very attractive stenographer and the wife, when passing his study discovers him conversing with the girl. This discloses the fact that she has fallen in love with him, and upon his return home she is quite ready to find fault and be more or less disagreeable. But she has also won his love as chance happenings show. It is all very romantic and told with a vim which does much to maintain the interest. - The Moving Picture World, September 23, 1911
