Memories of childhood tv part I
silntbob-323 August 1999
I can barely remember much about this tv show, but i watched it faithfully on nickelodean whenever it was on. It was about these people in a department store and there was a mannequin named Jeff and when you put on his hat he came to life, sorta like on that Frosty The Snowman cartoon. well anyway, they would have different adventures with puppets named Sam, the nightwatch man, and then this mouse whos name i cant remember and have lots of educational fun. I now realize how truly pathetic childhood is.

Great childhood show!

This show was one of my favorites as a child. The characters consisted of Muffy the mouse, Sam Crenshaw the night watchman, Jeff the mannequin who came alive when his hat was put on, and Jody a sales clerk. The show is about their adventures in the department store. Their stories always took place at night when no one else was in the store. If it is ever on again, I would definitely watch it!

One of tv's finest in kids' programming.

I absolutely loved this show as a child. (I would love to catch a re-run) I still remember what all of the characters looked like. I remember one episode where Muffy the mouse spilled hot chocolate or something on Sam's keyboard. She had to get it off with a toothbrush. I also thought that Jeff and Jodi needed get together. I thought soo much of this show that I have had cats named after each of the four main chars!!

A great presentation

I have always loved Today's Special. But I can remember when they showed this special movie presentation on TVO. It was remarkable to see Jeff actually leave the store and turn into a mannequin and Waldo says "alright, just this once" and lets him come to life outside the store.
