exciting movie - romantic plot-very exiting

I saw this movie first at the age of 11 about 1975. The theme song is very romantic and the plot gave me a certain sense of adventure with an atmosphere of strange secrets to be solved. It's my passion to see this film again after so many years passed by. But all of my affords to get a copy of this film were in vain. I can remember the film very well.I can even evocate my feelings if a imagine i could see this film again.Maybe it would me satisfy if i could hear the theme song, guess the singer was Jímmy Crowe. I can also still remember the actors and actresses who gave me an durable imprint of the emotions of excitement when i ones saw four winds island.I would feel very sorry if there were really no opportunity seeing this film again. Four winds island revoke my childhood in a very romantic sense.

Probably the best CFF Movie

Way back in the early to mid 1960's I watched this great CFF master piece on German TV. Ever since VHS was invented, I was trying to get a copy from this CFF film, but unfortunately BFI has no master copy and in Germany (where a master copy with original English track is available at the TV Archives) it cannot get released on DVD, because 6 other old CFF movies did not make enough profit to continue releasing more old CFF films on DVD's. To make up for the fact that I most likely won't ever see this film again in my lifetime, I bought the book (with the same title) by Vega Stewart. It's nice, but it's not the film...
