The late Lo Lieh (Wang Li Ta, 1939-2002) achieved a brief international fame thanks the Shaw's classic King Boxer/Five fingers of death: one of his few roles as the main hero. Usually he was the main rascal as in this Thai-HK enterprise co-directed by the ecleptic Wu Ma (the exorcist-swordsman in A Chinese Ghost Story). Lo Lieh is Peter Wong, a criminal who manage to escape the police and goes into Opium ring. Thai action star and boxer Sombat Metanee is the undercover cop who goes after him. The incredibly sexy Tian Ni is the female gangleader and Tien Feng from Fist of Fury is her rival. More guns than Kung-Fu in this actioner mostly set in the jungle. A mediocre movie interesting only for his mixed cast.
