"Clothes Pin" Jimmy Ashe decides that his time to retire has come, so he offers to turn his clothespin-manufacturing plant over to his son. At first Jimmy Jr. hesitates, but when he does decide to take over the business, he is determined to make good. Opposition is thrown in his path by Moran, a crooked businessman and financial power in the town of Diversity. When Moran attempts to ruin Jimmy's business by refusing to honor his lumber contract, he meets unforeseen resistance. Jimmy, joined by his men, takes possession of the one-track railroad and refuse to relinquish it until they get the lumber. Thus Jimmy proves his mettle and saves the company.
