Continuity

When Wells falls asleep on Dooley's couch near the end, we see him pull the blanket up over her shoulder. In the next shot, it's back down again, and when he leaves the room, the blanket is again up over her shoulder where he placed it.
The meal he created for the female officer who went to sleep on his couch disappeared. He set it down on the table behind the couch, walked the dog, returned, put the blanket on her and it wasn't on the table behind the couch anymore when she woke up in the morning and looked around.

Revealing mistakes

Dooley asks the dog "What's wrong with you Mac?" which is Jerry Lee's real name.
When Dooley gets out of the shower at the beginning his boxers are visible.

Crew or equipment visible

When the trash truck leaves after trying to haul his green Mustang away, he looks at his windshield and has a ticket. Now, either the officer who put the ticket was standing in the street behind the trash truck or the officer protecting the film site was seen dodging to the opposite side of the street. Though in a later scene, the ticket person was a female in a golf cart type vehicle.
When Dooley is running the tires while working out, he falls. Jerry Lee runs into frame. While doing so, the arm of the real K9 handler can be briefly seen guiding the dog in on the left side of the shot.

Character error

Welles said that her dog Zeus was trained in the Netherlands and that she talks to him in Dutch, but all the commands she gives Zeus are in German.
When Dooley brings Jerry Lee to the vet for a checkup, he complains because he doesn't have enough cash to pay the bill. Since it was a department ordered checkup and the dog is legally the property of the police department he wouldn't be paying the bill.
