Plot Summary

There is the usual atmosphere with cafés, small stores, brass bands, and quiet alleys in a town in the country during the World War II. A group of high school students with leftist convictions meet on a regular basis outside the town to recite poems and sing the International. To them, this is an innocent game, which gradually turns into serious illegal activity. The young people implement several actions against the authorities. They are arrested one by one and subjected to inhuman tortures. The verdict against them is death penalty. And they were so young... Written by Georgi Djulgerov
