Plot Summary

Joaquin is a talented old man from a good family, a former concert artist and painter. Now he lives alone in a hospice and a perpetual bad mood, dreaming of reuniting with his daughter and her own little son, his grandson he has never met. Daniel is a good boy who grew up in an orphanage to be courageous and face life's challenges; his only friend is a dog, Anselmo. When Daniel meets Joaquin, he finds in him the grandfather he never had. Alejandra is a good girl, intelligent and nice. When her parents, Gerardo and Fernanda, separate, she escapes from the house and meets Daniel. They become good friends, and with Joaquin's help they set up a fire balloon. Don Lucas is the school caretaker who liked Daniel at first, then became jealous of Joaquin. Mayra, Gerardo's secretary, is cool and calculating and wants to seduce him. Alejandra's frenemy Yolanda hates her and is vain and careerist; Yolanda's daughter Yoyo is an evil little child who wants Daniel. At the end Joaquin will succeed in adopting Daniel because his real daughter is dead. Written by Anonymous
