Erika Eleniak, Ice-T, and Dylan Walsh in Final Voyage (1999)

Goofs

Final Voyage

Edit

Continuity

After the scene where the Britannic begins to flood, Gloria is seen climbing up a ladder in rain boots (whereas in the prior scene she was in high heels).
Gloria's takes off her high-heels to jump over the railing to safety in the engineering docks. In the next shot, she is seen in her heels again.
During the battle with Josef, Aaron is shot in the shoulder. In the next shot, his gunshot wound is on the opposite shoulder and subsequent shots show no wound.
When the terrorists storm the ship, the sky changes from calm to stormy then calm in a matter of minutes.
The ship's name (Britannic) is spelled differently on the ship's hull and the life preserver seen in the first half of the movie.

Factual errors

Collins is wearing four bars on his epaulettes indicating his rank is captain, yet he isn't the captain.

Revealing mistakes

Wires can be seen pulling various objects to their destruction as the ocean waters flood the ship.
Obvious stuntman as Aaron Carpenter jumps the railing to the boxes below in the engineering docks.
In the airplane hijacking sequence, the aircraft markings simply say "Boeing 747" without any airline name or logo. It is therefore not film of a genuine commercial flight, but probably stock footage of a test flight or aircraft delivery.
A shot of the ship, captioned "50 nautical miles from land", shows it pitching heavily up and down as it crashes through waves. Although it looks very dramatic, no captain of a passenger ship would allow his vessel to be driven in a way that would so inconvenience and possibly endanger his passengers.
During the early scene on the deck of the ship it is obvious they are standing on the Queen Mary at Long Beach.

The rock formation surrounding QM can clearly be seen over the side.

Plot holes

When the parachutists hit the water, there are already several rope ladders hanging down the side of the ship. However they would landed in the water at a distance to ensure they didn't hit the ship on their way down, so it is highly unlikely that anyone would be able to swim to the ship in time to actually reach one of the ladders.
