Sequel of "In the Zone of Special Attention" about military training of Soviet paratroopers and marines.

The southern command decides to send to the rear of the northern commando group consisting of Tarasov, Volentir and two marines: Shvets and Zinovieva. The saboteurs capture Lieutenant Colonel Moroshkin from the "Northern" group, who deliberately substituted himself, hiding a hidden transmitter on his body.
