A "woman's movie"for everyone
Castor-116 February 2001
As usual, the only films worth seeing these days are on the History Channel, or the Women's Television Network.

Such a WTN movie is "Giving Up The Ghost", the story of a grief-stricken wife who is revisited by her husband's ghost. If you think you've heard this one before, stop.

It's not your usual adrenaline-driven cliche-riddled vehicle for some glam star, but, at times, a case of "Be careful what you wish for" I'll say no more, not wishing to mar your enjoyment of a fresh and highly entertaining movie. Go, see...and I do mean that it's a movie for everyone

Great entertainment

I absolutely loved this movie. It started out very sad with the griefstricken Anna not being able to cope with her husbands death,so she tries to talk to him. Then it turns quite hilarious as her prayers are answered and she finds her husband (or his ghost, for that matter) in her bathtub. After the initial shock, they try to finish what they started before his death. I loved this movie,Marg Helgenberger is a wonderful actress, and although i thought the story was a bit thin, its great Saturday night entertainment!
