Terranova's gonna rock ya

Another great indie, here's one that shouldn't be missed. A mentally disturbed woman, brilliantly portrayed by Cronin, runs away with her son from kiwi land, and hides out in a boarding house, it's name, the title of this movie, where as strange luck would have it, the tenants are as crazy as her, but in different ways, like it's weird like owner, a great Angela Punch Macgregor. Paul Kelman is very good too as one of the tenants, with violent tendencies, as you'll see, in one heavy scene, who strikes up a romance with her. The film is good in the frank way it shows it's different characters, each with their share of the problems. The movie doesn't pretend to be something it's not. There are moments of quite stark realism. Cronin is the brilliant acting attraction, though, and things heat up when her family track her down, her arsehole of a father, no less played by old crazy acting great, Vincent Gil, solid. On the whole, this is one movie, I repeat, you should not miss. Look out for it, on the shelves. Highly recommended.
