Great film; Well-written.

I saw this at the Chicago Alt.Film Festival in 1998, and loved it. It's funny, has great characterization, great writing and I loved the soundtrack. I hope it gets picked up by a distributor soon, so I can get a copy on video.

Unusually skilled director

This early effort by film director Joe Lamirand is a showcase for works yet to come.

Producing a comedy is a formidable effort and risky anytime ...but especially as an early effort in a director's career.

Lamirand pulls it off easily in this enjoyable film about the antics and side-effects of a young man who heads off to make it in acting.

The director was especially diligent in selection of cast, recruiting talented up-and-comers for key roles.

In summary it held my attention and made me laugh a lot ... just what a successful comedy is supposed to do.

Check it out if you get a chance.
