This quota quickie takes place on a tramp steamer and a studio recreation of the tropics.Main leads are taken by Cyril Maclaglen,brother of Victor,and John Stuart who featured in many such films in his long career.The story clutches from one plot device to another.The plot is to do with diamonds found on a tropical island.The crew get to hear of this and desert.The Captain agrees to carry some diamonds.A band of thieves enlist to enable them to steal the diamonds.John Stuart is a former doctor who also seems to be a drug addict.However Stuart outwits the gang.Stuart then helps the captain to get through the storm and reach Singapore.Some of the sound is clearly post synched.However no films were shot as ailments in the UK in 1931
