a must-see for rhino lovers everywhere
clare-parody6 July 2010
This is unquestionably the greatest film about rhinos that I have ever seen. I was moved to tears by the quality of the acting, script, and cinematography. The film really gives you food for thought, especially about the plight of rhinos. The taxidermy scene in particular was a wonderful addition to the plot and added great insight into how taxidermists live and work. Adrienne Pearce is an actress of unusual talent and her British accent really is quite something. My only criticisms would be that it needs more rhinos. Also, I believe that they shouldn't have faded to black on the sex scenes because I think the BDSM content made important thematic points. You really do have to see this film to believe it. You will never see another film like it.

A gripping tale of rhinos, rangers, and bdsm!

Warning: Spoilers
This film offers a unique and intriguing insight into the life and work of Southern African game rangers. Crammed with top class rhino footage it is a visual feast for anyone passionate about African wildlife. The acting is quite unlike anything I have ever experienced, having an almost haunting quality- I was glued to the screen from start to finish. This film is an emotional roller-coaster which will make you laugh and cry in equal measure and has a little something for everyone. Where else can you find rhinos, sexual domination, taxidermy and tranquil African sunsets? Rhino has it all and lots lots more. This film has changed my life forever. Never will I see rhinos in the same way again.
