Skeet Ulrich and Cuba Gooding Jr. in Chill Factor (1999)

Goofs

Chill Factor

Edit

Continuity

When Dr. Richard Long first takes 'Elvis' out of the fridge he is not wearing any gloves. In the next shot he is seen wearing large protective gloves.
When Officer Pappas is talking to Mason in Darlene's he places the cap on his coffee cup. The next time they show him the coffee cup has no lid and he grabs the lid to cover his coffee again
When Doc Long is explaining to Mason and Arlo about Elvis, Mason switches from one side of Doc Long to the other between shots.
When Arlo and Tim Mason are crossing the explosion site of the tanker their driver side mirror is smashed and the arms holding it are broken when the side of the truck scrapes the mountain. Then a few seconds later when the terrorist comes down off the cliff at the end of a rope and shoots at Tim Mason and Arlo the driver side mirror is intact.
The security gate that Dr. Long drove through when leaving the compound after he was shot was left open by Brynner's man; after the man opened the gate for Brynner and his people he got in the vehicle before closing the gate.

Factual errors

During the mountain chase scene, the lead terrorist decides to fire on the fleeing heroes and he makes the comment "Get the M-79 ready, prep the launcher". However, the weapon he fires into the tanker truck is a shoulder mounted RPG or possibly a LAW (Light Anti-Tank Weapon). The M-79 that he referred to is actually a hand held grenade launcher.
Colonel Brynner tells one of his associates to ready the M79 grenade launcher but what he ultimately fires at the fuel truck is an M72 rocket launcher.

Revealing mistakes

When the two male leads are in the boat sliding down the side of the mountain, the tow rope pulling the boat is seen attached to the underside of the front of the boat.

Anachronisms

There is a sign that says US Route 40. That highway doesn't exist in Montana.

Character error

After Doc Long dies and Mason stands up, Doc Long moves his hand out of the way.
Colonel Brynner asked for iced coffee from Tim. The coffee he received was steaming but he did not complain.
