Sting's First Movie
xlbder18 December 1998
This romantic comedy is unusual in that it is the first movie appearance of Steve Borden, (better known as STING of WCW fame), and the role is not the action super hero that would be expected of such a popular wrestling pro.

Wrestlers CAN act, when they try...
ColbertNotion13 January 2011
Warning: Spoilers
I cannot say enough good things about this movie... despite other (negative) reviews you'll see here, it deserves a chance if only for the sharp, fast-paced, and witty dialog. The story is not too hard to follow, but you will get lost in the quick scene changes if you're not paying attention as characters will often finish the thoughts and words of the previous scenes characters only for the set up of the scene that follows. The plot is your basic romantic comedy formula where six men all vie for the attention of one woman, who seems very flighty at best, without ever stopping to wonder if she might actually be worth all the trouble they're going through to be with her. Steve Borden, aka "Sting", shines as one of the six "regular guys" chasing this beautiful woman and proves, to me any ways, that wrestlers can act if they try.

Stay away from this!

I saw this film on PPV when it came out. The only reason i ordered it was because STING (Steve Borden) was in it and at the time i was a big wrestling fan (still am somewhat) Anyway this film is you're basic comedy/romance film but really low budget, bad acting and no story. From what i remember you got these four guys who all want this same girl and are doing everything they can to get with her. But that is about as far as the plot goes in this film. Another thing about this film is that this proves that wrestlers need to stay in wrestling and not start doing movies, (we learned this with Hulk Hogan in the 80's and 90's) so my thoughts on this film is that, its a good thing it never went to video cause it really sucks and Sting should stick to wrestling if anything. I give this one a 2 out of 10... Avoid at all cost!

I actually can't believe how good this film was, I only watched it for giggles but was blown away by a small budget film. The dialogue is sharp and really well written, Sting can actually act, like seriously we'll. I'm giving it a 10/10 for how much I expected compared to what I got. Its not Shawshank redemption but for what it is, its hilarious and very clever. Give it a watch.
