It has to be said, there is a lot of dialogue, possibly too much. There is a lot of footage included to hold the story together. When it comes to the sex, there is a sense it wasn't the biggest priority during the writing process. Sure there are sex scenes, but it is not the strongest aspect of Anal Academy.
Then there's the title 'Anal Academy'. Maybe the word 'Anal' was used to help sell more units. I guess 'Ordinary Sex Academy with a Couple of Orgies' wouldn't quite have quite cut it.
There might have been time pressures, or too much partying, as Debbie van Gils looks tired during the later part of the film. At the end of the film Boy 05 is sitting there with his arms crossed. He looks like he just wants to go home.
