When Jackson goes to Dora's and climbs into the well, he is wearing a plaid shirt - next in the house his shirt is a solid color - in the morning, his shirt is back to plaid. This may or may not be due to his shirt getting wet in the well. It's possible he's wearing one of Ray's shirts.
As Jackson's mom leaves with the body of the girl she is driving a late 1940s or maybe 1950 Chevrolet with 1" whitewall tires. Believe the 1" whitewall did not come into use until late 50s and should have been the old wide whitewalls.
After the execution, a reporter outside the prison asks if there was a pardon. There would not have been, as the inmate was executed.
When Dora and Jackson leave the bar and go for a walk, they pass a vacant business with a sign in the window which reads 'building for sale.' There is no phone number or other contact information, which seems unrealistic.
