When Olive comes out of the giant tambourine, she is wearing red toenail polish. For the rest of the short, she alternates between wearing it and not wearing it.

In a jungle scene, Popeye captures a toucan with a red tongue. Toucans have gray tongues.

The whites of Bluto's eyes turn brown after he's hit in the head by the flying tambourine.

When the orchestra drummer strikes his tenor drum, it produces the tone of a bass drum, and vice versa.
