And Bubble Gum
boblipton6 June 2021
During the concert, the violin olist is chewing bubble gum, which gets caught everyplace in this very funny Art Davis cartoon.

It's black and white and from Columbia, which accounts for its undeserved obscurity. By this point, color cartoons were becoming fairly standard, and the better black and white efforts made up for the lack of Technicolor with better and more extreme gags. Ad in the fact that this one has no real plot nor dialogue, and Davis was free to spend money on the things that black and a white cartooists could do well.
