"Fun and Facts About America"

John Sutherland left Disney and produced his own cartoons. Sometimes he released through MGM and sometimes his cartoons were bankrolled by Harding College -- now Harding University -- and offered introductory courses in economics.

This is one of them. Joe is a factory worker and gets a nicely illustrated introduction to then-standard basic economic theories of production and investment that "make the United States the industrial master of the world: that and a couple of world wars that left the rest of the world bombed into rubble and/or broke.

How much credence you place in the theories advanced here depend on your own theories of how the world works, however formally or informally you may hold them. This offers its theories forthrightly with some amusing and beautiful images along the way.
