The soundtrack recorded off the air on NBC TV on 1/4" reel to reel audio tape, at the time of the original broadcast by Phil Gries (Archival Television Audio Inc.) is the only extant audio known to exist. Clips have been transacted to production companies for inclusion in three different television documentaries about Steve McQueen over the years, the first being "Steve McQueen: King of Cool."
