Cyndee Summers stars in the title role of SEXUAL THERAPIST, a typical white-coater porn film that fitfully tries to educate the viewer besides delivering its XXX goods. I enjoyed the cast, but it's pretty meager entertainment, reissued on Vol. 71 of Something Weird's Dragon Art Theater series.
The main couple is Keith Erickson and Orita de Chadwick, whose marriage is on the rocks. Cyndee treats them separately and gets the juices flowing, literally. Ric Lutze also gets her treatment, when in reality he should have been sent to some spa to relax and give his overworked member a rest.
Directed by the brilliant Anthony Spinelli, but not among his significant films, it shares the cast with a much more interesting Spinelli movie made at this time, THE NYMPH TAPES, which deals with incest as its topic.
I much prefer the purely fictional approach to this mock-doc type of exercise, especially when it is impossible to buy such familiar thesps as "real" subjects. This is by-the-numbers, assembly-line porn made with zero imagination or effort.
