The film contains a short sequence of R. L. O'Mealy the celebrated Ulliean piper. This may be the only surviving film of O'Mealy playing and has been used as reference by pipers studying his style.
Features a brief appearance by Tom Casement, brother of famous Irish Republican Roger Casement, who was executed for his part in a failed gun-running plot and gave his name to Casement Park in Dublin.
