When Al Falfa's house is overrun by mice, he gets a cat to keep them down. All too soon he finds that his mouser may deal with the mice, but now he has other cats coming to serenade her while he is trying to sleep/
Like many of Terry's early Aesop's Fables cartoons, it is illustrated simply but clearly. The situation itself provides most of the amusement.
My source for this cartoon claims that it is supposed to show an image of the Ku Klux Klan. It is true that Falfa dreams of a giant cat wearing a white hood, but that is clearly intended to be a ghost.
