Who writes this stuff?

This was by god the worst movie that I have EVER ever seen. The camera work is shabby, the acting is THE WORST EVER. The director of this movie obviously has no idea of what movie making is all about. You can double check this by asking, "where the heck are they now?" and realizing that you can't answer that. One of the actors could be dead and you wouldn't even know it! That is the problem with theatre people, they have no idea about what makes movies natural... Better luck next time, stick to the stage....

Did I mention that movie was just awful....

A great independent film

This is a great film, done within the confines of Red Deer College. It is an adaptation of Shakespeare's Macbeth. Ross (Travis Woloshyn) gets so pulled into the play that his life becomes it. His girlfriend (Reagan Dale Neis), angry that she did not win the part of Lady M, plots revenge. She doesn't however kill Mr. Stuart, merely drives him from his post. You also see the characters of Macduff, Banquo, Lady Macduff and others mirrored.

This is a great film with some very talented young actors. I would highly recommend watching it.

A great independent movie

This is a fantastic modern adaptation of Macbeth by Red Deer College. The acting, while at times may not be excellent, is fairly good. The storyline is compelling. The star of a theatrical version of Macbeth (Trevor Woloshyn) is pulled into the play, so that his life mirrors it. His girlfriend, (Reagan Dale Neiss) angry that she did not get the part of "Lady M" plots revenge on the director. In an interesting twist from the play she merely tries to ruin his life, his ability to do, well, anything, as opposed to trying to kill him. This is a great film, made within the confines of Red Deer College, by very talented students, one of which went on to star in a TV show on the WB (not great, but it's something) I would highly recommend watching it.

don't be so harsh

Maybe you didn't know but this film was a project made at a theatre school. The very fact that it has been picked up for broadcast by television stations around the world and is on this very website is a credit to everyone who had a hand in making it.

Yes there are flaws in the film, yes the actors are green, but don't you think there is something inspiring in seeing something that was made out of pure passion and love as opposed to the majority of big budget films constantly being spued out from Hollywood?

And one last thing, the director is a very accomplished theatre and FILM professional, what have you done to qualify your expert opinion?

Honestly one of the worst movie I have ever seen

Pretentious and completely forgettable with a truly confused script. How the people who made this had any sort of career afterwards is beyond comprehension. This is one of those movies you watch not caring at all about any of the characters or the story, and instead try to understand the state of mind of the people who made it and how they thought this would be entertainment. This isn't one of those so bad it's so-bad-it's-good kind of films... it's a so-bad-it-make-you-angry film since the 91 mins you spent watching it you will never get back!
