You're not going to get complex storylines with VHS porn, but the premise of a frigid wife moving in with a free-spirited friend has a lot of potential. Buffy Davis, as said wife, also has real presence, tackling the acting as skillfully as the varied sex scenes. Unfortunately, Tiffany Storm, while certainly visually appealing, is completely checked out, which doesn't do much for her carnal moments (and even less for the clothed moments). The best moment for Storm is probably the threesome on her news desk, as it's relatively quick.
There's also an odd choice made to have Davis almost immediately in a threesome, complete with DP, with Francois (sporting a mustache that makes him look like his evil twin) and Randy West (the men apparently assume she is Storm, even though they look very little alike) , yet then play out the story afterward as if she is still waiting to be sexually awakened. Instead we have this followed by a tryst with Storm and her playing the voyeur at the perfunctory dull orgy scene, which just makes me wonder if the people who made the movie see a DP as a casual greeting.
After these mistimed moments of awakening occur, Davis reconciles with her husband, played, of course, by Ron Jeremy, who is thrilled to learn his wife is now down for anything. Davis and Jeremy have a good spark together that means his usual comic ad-libs don't seem out of place (I would list a few of his fairly funny asides but they probably ARE out of place for this review...).
The film closes on Sasha Gabor, who popped up a few times as one of Storm's sex pals, getting a visit from one-shot Delicia as a gift from Storm. Delicia soon gets down to nothing but a collar and leash, and performs a few tricks for a delighted Gabor until they go into a more traditional scene. At first I was surprised he got the closing segment, until I saw his name listed as executive producer. At least he knew to finish the movie on a memorable note.
