- A group of teenagers training for the national Power Commando championship games mistakenly find themselves on land owned by drug merchants. With only harmless paint bullets as their weapons, they must match their skills against live ammunition and the ruthless men behind it.—Amanda Lowe <daro@meditnet.com>
- A group of weekend warriors practicing for the Power Commando paintball championship tournament, are isolated in a forest known as "Zone 14" or "Sacred Land", and could be killed by the locals of the forest. The forest was thought to have been completely sealed off. State Police Inspector King tries to arrange with the Governor a deal to get a rescue chopper and a task force squad, but the Governor refuses to comply. There are urban legends about Sacred Land such as ghosts haunting the land (as it is sacred Indian ground) and a story about a group of boy scouts that camped out there long ago, and all of them were found dead and without any eyes. King tells the Governor that the rescue team will arrive at Zone 14 before dark, but he will not take responsibility if the mission fails.
Meanwhile, one of the young Commandos, Kiddie, has injured her leg and she is brought back to a cabin by her friend Flake and The Sarge, who has been providing camp for the Power Commando team. At the cabin, Kiddie tells the Sarge that she and Jeremy, her boyfriend and also part of the team, were laying down, relaxing, when out of nowhere, Kiddie's leg was then attacked by a booby trap.
At the same time, Jeremy, Andy and Gino are rehearsing an ambush on their coach, Tattoo, and their guide, Mohawk. Tattoo scolds Jeremy and Gino for their recklessness, which could cost them big in the actual games. Jeremy says he did it all for Kiddie, whom Tattoo says isn't Jeremy's type since she's an uptown girl. Mohawk tells Tattoo that they should move on because the spirits could come after them. Tattoo is unmoved and becomes enraged by Mohawk's constant talk of the spirits, which scares Andy and causes him to run off. The 4 decide to go look for him.
As the 4 men move along, Mohawk discovers Andy's body. Andy has been gutted like a fish. They then decide to go back to the cabin, but not before Mohawk radios the Sarge about Andy's death.
Back at the cabin, Sarge, Kiddie and Flake overhear Mohawk mentioning Andy's death over the radio. Flake agrees to go out and get to the Sarge's Suburban to get help. While Flake is away, The Sarge goes insane due to a steel plate within his head and tries to take advantage of Kiddie and starts randomly shooting outside at various points in the film.
While resting and after mourning Andy, Mohawk and Tattoo recount to Jeremy and Gino how Tattoo got his name. While fighting in Vietnam, one of Tattoo's fellow soldiers wrote "Kiss V" on Tattoo's lower back while sleeping. The tattoo on Tattoo's back stood for "Kiss my ass." Later that night, Jeremy, Tattoo, Mohawk and Gino are still heading back to the cabin. They see what looks to be one of the supposed spirits that Mohawk has been talking about and then hear shooting, which turns out to be from Sarge. Not too long after, Gino has been attacked by another trap and is near death when Tattoo threatens to kill Mohawk if Gino dies. Gino succumbs to his injury and ultimately dies.
Meanwhile, Flake is out looking for the truck when she approaches a stream. She notices a 4x4 being hot-wired by unknown means. She then locates the truck.
Jeremy then sees another supposed spirit walking through Sacred Land. Tattoo and Mohawk, carrying the bodies of Gino and Andy, quickly come to his aid. Tattoo notices a trap set up and throws a stick to test it. Jeremy is then stabbed through the leg by a spear in the ground (another trap), which leaves him immobilized in the process. Tattoo and Mohawk then decide they have no other choice but to use Jeremy as a decoy, in order to make it back to camp without being killed by whatever or whoever may be after them. While watching over Jeremy, Mohawk sees something or someone and proceeds to stand up, instantly getting shot in the back with an arrow. Tattoo has had enough. He calls for his invisible enemies to show themselves and is ultimately gunned down.
While driving for help, Flake meets a blind man, who serves as her guide for a way out of Sacred Land. ("The one who comes back from Sacred Land is always going for help.") The blind man turns out to be one of the boy scouts who camped out on Sacred Land and lost their eyes years ago. Along the way, the blind man tells Flake that the Sheriff, who is one of the Sacred Land locals, is up on a corner not far from the exit. The blind man tells Flake to tell the Sheriff that she met up with a blind man who spoke of prophecy and doom.
Flake meets with the Sheriff to ask for help for Kiddie, who is still in the Cabin with the Sarge on Sacred Land. The Sheriff tells Flake that he can't help her because Sacred Land is supposedly out of his area. She mentions to the Sheriff the blind man and the encounter with the 4x4, which was actually being hot-wired by Flexy, one of the locals. He offers Flake a ride, which she turns down. As she gets back into the truck, the blind man re-appears through the truck's back seat, almost scaring Flake.
Back in the forest, three men come out of the darkness. Jeremy, who is still alive, albeit paralyzed, knows it's the end. Despite this, he makes an attempt to move as he sees the men approaching. One of the men approaches Jeremy and coldly slits his throat.
The blind man tells Flake that the locals of Sacred Land are actually Pot Growers. The blind man then demands that he be let out. Flake refuses but the blind man says that while he's not one of the Sacred Land locals, the other locals, including the Sheriff still take care of him due to his lack of vision.
Flake is then picked up by a local trooper who drives a van to meet with Inspector King, who was seen at the start of the film. King tells Flake that her friends are more than likely to be doomed. The locals of Sacred Land, who are Pot Growers, as stated by the blind man earlier, are highly trained and will do anything to deal with trespassers on Sacred Land. Not even the Army will try to stop them.
Near the Cabin, the Sheriff and two locals are looking at the sky, noticing the approaching helicopter. One of the locals (Redhead) shows a grenade to the Sheriff, suggesting that they have a "special plan."
As the chopper lands, Inspector King exits the chopper along with Flake, the Trooper and three marksmen. King greets the Sheriff, unaware that the Sheriff is one of the Sacred Land Pot Growers. Flake tries to convince King that the Sheriff is one of the locals, but the Sheriff dismisses this ("Blind man's bullshit!") and tells King that a crazy man (actually the Sarge) is holding a girl (Kiddie) hostage. Flake tells King that the Sheriff is lying and that Sarge and Kiddie are her friends.
King then yells at the Sarge through the loudspeaker to come out of the cabin. The Sarge comes out with his gun and is told to drop his weapon. The Sheriff fires his rifle into the air, causing the Sarge to start randomly shooting again, only to be shot by the marksmen. All three marksmen are then killed in gruesome ways. King and the Sheriff then point their guns at each other, with the Sheriff laughing manically. Redhead tosses a grenade into the cabin. Kiddie notices, but is unable to do anything about it because of her leg injury. As Flake and the Trooper run into the cabin to rescue Kiddie, they fail to notice the grenade that has been tossed into the cabin and the cabin subsequently explodes, instantly killing the three inside. King turns around and sees the cabin in flames. The helicopter has already proceeded to take off into the night. All is lost. Redhead declares victory. ("Visitors: 0. Locals: 12."). The Sheriff congratulates the locals, including Flexy and Redhead. The Sheriff and the other locals then push King along to an unknown fate.
