My interest in watching this series of "Dragnet" ripoffs is nil after sitting through this boring and unfunny specimen, in which Jon Martin as lead doesn't even try as a Jack Webb imitator, coming off in trenchcoat and hat as more of a Sam Spade wannabe.
Stupid script is from the prolific and nearly always worthless scripter Cash Markman, with endless cliches and even pointless racist elements thrown into the dialog, alongside silly references to Boy George and the Rolling Stones (commemorating latter group's "getting back together" at the time this movie was shot).
Cast's attempt at British accents are lousy, along with narcoleptic heroine Megan Leigh's Cockney accent, while Mike Horner's attempted slapstick just awful. Crummy music blares during each sex scene, and Scotty Fox's static direction of interminable dialog scenes quite boring. Stock footage of London is inserted between the ho-hum indoor segments.
