This was an excellent movie of a disturbing fact of life. It was well presented and was a very accurate portrayal of what happens as far as the legal system is concerned. Michael Moriarty and David Cubitt portray their roles really well. As I said, it's a disturbing subject, but the movie is worth watching because it handles the subject with reality.

Tough film about a tough subject. Excellent view of the Canadian legal system. Very well acted. Nicholas Campbell was outstanding as the undercover policeman--rough character well portrayed

Looking for a specific character played by N.Campbell

I saw a TV movie in the 1990's in which Mr. Campbell played an undercover police officer. It took place in a city and the criminals in the movie were very unhappy when they discovered that Mr Campbell's character was really a police officer. I believe the character's name was "Bill." Please reply with a comment and thanks. I saw this movie while I was seeking political asylum in Canada. An undercover agent was assigned to me. His name was "Bill." When I saw this movie with Mr. Campbell in it, I thought perhaps his character was based on this real undercover officer. Mr. Campbell's portrayal was excellent and I felt an affinity for his character based on my relationship with the real undercover police officer in Thunder Bay. I would like to contact Mr. Campbell and discover if the character he played was based on a real-life undercover officer and, if so, whether he ever met him.
