One does not like the character of the story
deickemeyer15 September 2015
A picture of considerable dramatic interest, yet offering disagreeable suggestions. For a girl to leave her husband because he is poor and contract an illegal marriage with a marquis, a former lover, who agrees to give her mother a home, is not the pleasantest sort of a picture, even though it may be true. And then later comes reconciliation with her husband. If the picture is intended as a story of what is done in some instances, it has merit. If it is intended as a drama merely, the suggestion offered is not the best. The plot might have been worked out in a way to save the stigma of selling herself which attaches to the girl. The acting and photography are not to be criticized, but one does not like the character of the story. - The Moving Picture World, October 22, 1910

storms but no dancer; Blom but no Asta

There appears to be some confusion here. Blom's Livets Strome is not about a dancer and does not feature Asta Nielsen. It would also appear to be a lost film. I assume the other reviewer is confusing it with the 1911 Blom film Balletdanserinden which is extant and in which Nielsen does appear and in which she does indeed play a dancer (as the title implies).
