Disappointing first Jackie Chan movie
sindala15 August 2023
This old black and white Hong Kong movie was considered lost until it appeared on YouTube in 2016. The camera work is very static, wich is okay for the conversations, but it makes the action scenes extremely boring.

The only reason I watched this film was for the first movie appearances of martial arts stars Jackie Chan and Sammo Hung Kam-Bo, credited here as Yuen Lo and Yuen Lung. Jackie Chan is one of the three older boys, the one with the darkest costume. Sammo Hung Kam-Bo is one of the little kids, in a white costume with decorations. Yuen Wah and Wu Ming-Tsai (as Yuen Ting), two other children of the Seven Little Fortunes can also been seen, but I'm not sure who they are. Since Yuen Wah is older than Jackie Chan, he's probably the other boy in a dark costume.
